On Thursday 4th July 2019. Jeremy Hunt MP for South West Surrey officially opened this year’s Surrey Para Games with children from throughout Surrey enjoying the first-class sporting event.
Final preparations for this year’s Surrey Para Games are being made with local National Kayaker and aspiring Olympian, Chris Carson this year lending his support.
On Friday, 8th February a new Music Works headquarters was formally opened at Rodborough School in Milford, Surrey by Neil Cowley an acclaimed pianist who has worked with artists including Adele. Neil won ‘Artist of the Year’ at the Jazz FM Awards in 2013.
A rather damp, chilly Friday evening in January didn't stop more than 100 people attending St Andrews Church, Farnham for the first in a series of 'In Conversation' events. The topic for the inaugural event was Mental Health & Well-Being.
Today, Jeremy visited All Saints School in Tilford to face a Question Time-style panel of children and to officially open the school’s fabulous new outdoor classroom.
On Friday last week the Environment Agency hosted a visit by Jeremy Hunt, MP for South West Surrey, and other partners on the Lammas Lands in Godalming where they have now started constructing the new Godalming Flood Alleviation Scheme.
