Duchy of Lancaster and Paradise Papers

Her Majesty voluntarily pays tax on all income received from the Duchy. The Duchy's investment strategy is based on advice and recommendations from its investment consultants. The investment in BrightHouse was made through a third party, and equates to £3,208 or 0.0006 per cent of the Duchy's value.

On the wider issue of the 'Paradise Papers', HM Revenue and Customs has encouraged organisations to pass on any information that points to wrongdoing and they are prepared to look at every allegation in full.
