Please sign my petition to stop the merger between Guildford and Waverley Borough Councils.
Lib Dem-led Waverley Borough Council is still insisting on a merger with Guildford Council, despite the latter being reportedly investigated by the police for fraud. Is this really a good time to proceed with the merger? It does not make sense for either Guildford or Waverley residents given the fraud could be as much as £14 million.
I am keen to ensure that this survey is as representative of the whole constituency as possible. I have included some further questions on the third page which will help to achieve this.
